Sungai merupakan suatu bentuk ekosistem akuatik yang mempunyai peran penting.sungai
juga salah satu sumber air yang telah lama dimanfaatkan oleh manusia untuk berbagai aktifitas
dalam menunjang kehidupan seperti mecuci,mandi, masak, dan keperluan lainnya.Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sumber pencemaran Sungai Talih di Gampong Ateuk
Cut,Kabupaten Aceh Besar, untuk mengetahui kualitas sungai Talih di Gampong Acteuk
Kabupaten Aceh Besar, untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang perlindungan
pencemaran air sungai Talih Gampong Ateuk cut Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini
menggunakan melakukan metode survey yang bersifat deskriptif untuk menganalisis kualitas
air sungai talih di Gampong Ateuk Cut, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Titik pengambilan sampel
berjumlah 3 titik,yaitu di hulu, tengah, dan hilir.jarak antar 1 titik ke titik berikutnya terpisah
100-150 meter.penelitian responden terhadap sumber pencemaran sungai, di sungai talih
membuang kotoran ternak setiap hari sebanyak 70 orang (70%) respoden yangmencuci piring
dan peralatan rumah tangga ke sungai sebanyak 5 orang (5%) kualitas air sungai fisik tidak
berbau,warna air, satuan, skala, Tcu, warna, air 15, suhu air 20-30ºC biologi, tumbuhan ada
pengguna air sungai talih higienis bahwa respoden lebih banyak menggunakan air sungai
untuk membersikan kandang ternak sebanyak 33 orang (33%) mencuci tangan di air sungai
sebanyak 3 orang (3%). Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: sumber pencemar
terbanyak yang di hasilkan oleh pengguna air sungai Talih Gampong Ateuk Cut, Kecamatan
Simpang Tiga, Kabupaten Aceh Besar adalah membuang kotoran ternak setiap hari ke sungai
yakni 70 orang (70%). Hasil pemeriksaan Kualitas air secara Fisik dan secara Biologi kualitas
air sungai masih kategori yang baik. Persepsi masyarakat dalam perlindungan pencemaran air
sungaai,khusunya sungai Talih masih tergolong buruk. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi
persepsi dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap pencemaran air sungai antara lain
pengetahuan,pendidikan,budaya,serta kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Di perlukan peran
pemerintah serta tokoh masyarakat dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan peran masyarakat untuk
kelestarian lingkungan.

Analysis of Talih River Water Pollution in Ateuk Cut Village, District Aceh Besar River is a form of aquatic ecosystem that has an important role also one of the sources of water that has long been used by humans for various activities in supporting life such as washing, bathing, cooking, and other needs.Purpose This research is to find out the sources of contamination of the Talih River in Gampong Ateuk Cut, Aceh Besar District, to determine the quality of the Talih river in Gampong Acteuk Aceh Besar District, to find out the public's perception of protection Pollution of Talih River, Gampong Ateuk Cut, Aceh Besar District. This research using a descriptive survey method to analyze quality Talih river water in Gampong Ateuk Cut, Aceh Besar District. Sampling point totaling 3 points, namely in the upstream, middle, and downstream. the distance between 1 point to the next point is separated 100-150 meters. Respondents' research on sources of river pollution, in the Talih River throw away livestock manure every day as many as 70 people (70%) of respondents who wash dishes and household equipment to the river as many as 5 people (5%) the physical quality of river water is not smelt, water color, unit, scale, Tcu, color, water 15, water temperature 20-30ºC biology, plants exist users of river water, Talih Hygiene, that respondents use river water more to clean cattle pens as many as 33 people (33%) washed their hands in river water as many as 3 people (3%). The conclusion from the results of this study are: the source of the pollutant most of which are produced by users of Talih river water, Gampong Ateuk Cut, District Simpang Tiga, Aceh Besar District is throwing livestock manure every day into the river ie 70 people (70%). Results of inspection of water quality physically and biologically quality River water is still in good category. Public perception in water pollution protection rivers, especially the Talih river is still relatively bad. The main influencing factors community perceptions and behavior towards river water pollution, among others knowledge, education, culture, and environmental conditions. Role needed government as well as community leaders in an effort to increase the role of the community to environmental sustainability. Keywords: Analysis, Pollution, Water, River
