Perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa berada pada lingkungan kerja yang penuh dengan stresor tinggi, seperti kekurangan tenaga keperawatan dan perilaku pasien yang tidak terduga seperti agresi dan kekerasan. Kondisi ini mempengaruhi psychological capital dan kesehatan mental perawat yang berdampak pada kinerjanya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan psychological capital, kesehatan mental dan karakteristik dengan kinerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh. Penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan desain cross sectional study. Sampel berjumlah 186 perawat menggunkan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), DASS-21 dan Six-D Scale of Nursing Performance. Data dianalisa secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil menunjukkan secara parsial psychological capital (p = 000), stres (p = 000), kecemasan (p = 029) dan masa kerja (p = 000) berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat. Analisis regresi logistik menunjukkan psychological capital (p = 0,000; OR = 16,746), stres (p = 0,000; OR = 0,059), kecemasan (p = 0,044; OR = 2,713) dan masa kerja (p = 0,012; OR = 3,445) merupakan prediktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian adalah psychological capital paling berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat, dimana semakin positif psychological capital, maka semakin baik kinerja perawat. Perlu peningkatan psychological capital perawat yang positif melalui kegiatan supervisi dan bimbingan, pelatihan keterampilan untuk meningkatkan psychological capital serta manajemen stres dan kecemasan.

Nurses in mental hospitals are in a work environment full of high stressors, such as a shortage of nursing staff and unpredictable patient behavior such as aggression and violence. This condition affects the psychological capital and mental health of nurses which has an impact on their performance. The research objective was to determine the relationship between psychological capital, mental health and characteristics with the performance of nurses at the Aceh Mental Hospital. Quantitative research was used with a cross sectional study design. A sample of 186 nurses used a purposive sampling method. Data collection used the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), DASS-21 and the Six-D Scale of Nursing Performance. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results show that psychological capital (p = 000), stress (p = 000), anxiety (p = 029) and length of service (p = 000) are partially related to nurse performance. Logistic regression analysis showed that psychological capital (p = 0.000; OR = 16.746), stress (p = 0.000; OR = 0.059), anxiety (p = 0.044; OR = 2.713) and years of service (p = 0.012; OR = 3.445) were predictors related to nurse performance. The conclusion of the research results is that psychological capital is most related to nurse performance, where the more positive psychological capital, the better the nurse performance. It is necessary to increase the positive psychological capital of nurses through supervision and guidance activities, skills training to increase psychological capital as well as stress and anxiety management.
