Asam urat merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang terus mengalami peningkatan angka prevalensi secara nasional dengan laporan tertinggi berada pada Provinsi Aceh. Peningkatan prevalensi asam urat selaras dengan terjadinya perubahan kualitas hidup penderitanya karena adanya gejala yang timbul akibat penyakit. Pengukuran kualitas hidup penderita asam urat sangat penting dilakukan sebagai evaluasi untuk meminimalisir angka prevalensi penyakit dan penurunan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup penderita asam urat di Kota Lhokseumawe dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Penelitian ini menggunakan data hasil survei penyakit tidak menular di Kota Lhokseumawe yang dilakukan pada 15 April hingga 15 Mei 2022. Model yang memenuhi kriteria goodness of fit didapatkan setelah dilakukan modifikasi pada kesalahan pengukuran. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tingkat penerimaan penyakit, pengetahuan dan kepatuhan minum obat secara signifikan berpengaruh dengan hubungan positif sedangkan demografi dengan hubungan negatif terhadap kualitas hidup penderita asam urat di Kota Lhokseumawe.

Gout is a non-communicable disease that continues to experience an increase in prevalence rates nationally with the highest reports being in Aceh Province. The increase in the prevalence of gout is in line with changes in the quality of life of sufferers due to the symptoms that arise due to the disease. Measuring the quality of life of gout sufferers is very important as an evaluation to minimize the prevalence of the disease and decrease in quality of life. This research was conducted to analyze the factors that influence the quality of life of gout sufferers in Lhokseumawe City using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. This study used data from a non-communicable disease survey in Lhokseumawe City which was conducted from April 15 to May 15, 2022. A model that meets the goodness of fit criteria was obtained after modification of the measurement error. The results showed that the level of acceptance of the disease, knowledge and adherence to taking medication significantly influenced the positive relationship while demography had a negative relationship to the quality of life of gout sufferers in Lhokseumawe City.
