Fiber To The Home (FTTH) merupakan arsitektur jaringan akses fiber optik yang diimplementasikan untuk mentransmisikan data kepada pelanggan dengan kecepatan tinggi dan kapasitas yang besar. Perencanaan untuk mengimplementasikan jaringan akses FTTH di Kutacane disebabkan karena Kutacane merupakan salah satu kota yang belum tercakup oleh jaringan akses FTTH ICON+, sehingga diperlukan perluasan jaringan ke wilayah tersebut. Pada penelitian ini dirancang jaringan akses FTTH berbasis GPON di cluster kota Kutacane dan cluster perumahan Kumbang Indah, serta menganalisis parameter kinerja jaringan akses FTTH berupa link power budget, rise time budget, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), dan Bit Error Rate (BER) menggunakan simulasi OptiSystem. Dari hasil analisis yang diperoleh pada cluster kota Kutacane dan cluster perumahan Kumbang Indah menunjukkan bahwa perancangan jaringan akses FTTH berbasis GPON pada kedua cluster tersebut layak untuk diimplementasikan karena mampu menghasilkan nilai parameter kinerja jaringan akses FTTH berupa link power budget, rise time budget, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), dan Bit Error Rate (BER) yang sesuai dengan standar internasional yang telah ditetapkan di dalam sistem komunikasi serat optik.

Fiber To The Home (FTTH) is an optical fiber access network architecture that is implemented to transmit data to customers with high speed and large capacity. The planning to implement the FTTH access network in Kutacane is because Kutacane is one of the cities that has not been covered by the ICON+ FTTH access network, so network expansion is needed to the area. In this research, a GPON-based FTTH access network was designed in the Kutacane city cluster and the Kumbang Indah housing cluster, and the performance parameters of the FTTH access network were analyzed in the form of link power budget, rise time budget, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), and Bit Error Rate (BER) using OptiSystem simulation. From the analysis results obtained in the Kutacane city cluster and the Kumbang Indah housing cluster, it shows that the design of the GPON-based FTTH access network in both clusters is feasible to implement because it is able to produce FTTH access network performance parameters in the form of link power budget, rise time budget, Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), and Bit Error Rate (BER) in accordance with the international standards set in the optical fiber communication system.
