Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) yang selama ini digunakan sebagai program pengganti Ujian Nasional (UN) lebih banyak dikaji tentang hasil penyelesaian terkait dengan literasi dan numerasi, baik tingkat SD hingga SMA dengan jumlah dan level soal yang berbeda. Namun proses penyelesaian soal AKM yang dilakukan terkait dengan penguasaan literasi dan numerasi siswa belum banyak diungkap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal AKM. Penelitian melalui pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 6 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 8 Subulussalam tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang dipilih dari 26 siswa keseluruhan kelas tersebut. Subjek penelitian mewakili siswa kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan selain instrumen utama yaitu peneliti sendiri, dibantu dengan lembar soal tes AKM dan pedoman wawancara. Data diperoleh dari pemberian tes dan wawancara. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi sumber, yaitu membandingkan data yang diperoleh dari siswa dan guru. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan konsep Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penyelesaian soal AKM yang dilakukan siswa tidak berjalan sesuai kondisi ideal, siswa melakukan proses mengamati gambar ilustrasi yang disajikan, menuliskan informasi soal dan yang ditanyakan, menerapkan konsep matematika untuk memecahkan masalah dan menyimpulkan jawaban. Tahapan penyelesaian soal AKM siswa cenderung kurang memahami isi soal dan tidak melakukan proses penalaran, terlihat dari siswa tidak mampu memberikan bukti kesimpulan yang diambilnya. Oleh karena itu guru perlu membiasakan siswa berlatih mengerjakan soal-soal AKM, terutama soal numerasi serta memperhatikan tahapan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal AKM.

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), which has been used as a substitute program for the National Examination (UN), has been studied more about the results of completion related to literacy and numeracy, both at the elementary to high school levels with different numbers and levels of questions. However, the process of solving AKM questions related to students' mastery of literacy and numeracy has not been revealed much. This study aims to describe the process of students in solving AKM problems. Research through a descriptive type qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 6 students of class XI science 1 SMAN 8 Subulussalam for the 2022/2023 school year who were selected from 26 students in the entire class. The subject of the study represents students of high, medium and low categories. The instruments used in addition to the main instruments are the researchers themselves, assisted by AKM test question sheets and interview guidelines. Data obtained from the provision of tests and interviews. To guarantee the validity of the data used triangulation of sources, that is, comparing the data obtained from students and teachers. The data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman's concepts, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the process of solving AKM questions carried out by students did not go according to ideal conditions, students carried out the process of observing the illustrations presented, writing down the information of the questions and questions, applying mathematical concepts to solve problems and concluding answers. The stages of solving AKM questions students tend to not understand the content of the questions and do not carry out the reasoning process, it can be seen from students not being able to provide evidence of the conclusions they take. Therefore, teachers need to familiarize students with practicing doing AKM questions, especially numeracy questions and pay attention to the stages that students take in solving AKM questions.
