Penentu suatu perusahaan dapat terus mempertahankan daya saing yaitu mampu memenuhi permintaan konsumen dalam jumlah dan waktu yang tepat. Pengendalian persediaan produk jadi dan bahan baku merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan agar produksi berjalan lancar sehingga permintaan konsumen selalu dapat terpenuhi. PT Rayeuk Aceh Utama merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sambal kemasan berupa sambal ijo khas Aceh dengan merek produk Capli. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah perusahaan belum mampu memenuhi seluruh permintaan konsumen, data historis tahun 2021 menunjukkan selisih antara permintaan dan produksi produk capli sebanyak 581 botol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sistem dinamik dengan software Powersim Studio untuk melihat perilaku dari sistem dengan menggambarkan model dalam Causal Loop Diagram dan Stock and Flow Diagram untuk memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Simulasi dijalankan selama 2 (dua) bulan dimulai dari 1 Agustus 2022 hingga 30 September 2022 dengan periode running per hari. Terdapat 4 skenario kebijakan yang disimulasikan dengan hasil penelitian didapatkan skenario terbaik yang dapat memenuhi seluruh permintaan adalah skenario 4 dengan meningkatkan nilai safety stock sebesar 100% dari nilai awal 48 menjadi 96 botol. Dengan menerapkan skenario ini perusahaan melakukan produksi sebanyak 14 kali per bulan dan pembelian bahan baku sebanyak 10 kali per bulan, serta menghasilkan rata-rata persediaan produk jadi sebesar 216 botol dan persediaan bahan baku sebesar 21,811 kg.

Inventory control of finished products and raw materials is an important thing that must be considered so that production runs smoothly so that consumer demand can always be fulfilled. PT Rayeuk Aceh Utama is a company that produces packaged chili sauce in the form of green chilli sauce typical of Aceh with the Capli product brand. The problem that occurs is that the company has not been able to meet all consumer demand, historical data in 2021 shows the difference between demand and production of capli products as many as 581 bottles. This study uses a dynamic system approach with Powersim Studio software to see the behavior of the system by describing the models in the Causal Loop Diagram and stock and flow diagram to provide policy recommendations in solving problems. The simulation is run for 2 (two) months starting from August 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022 with a running period per day. There are 4 policy scenarios simulated with the results of the study obtained the best scenario that can meet all demand is scenario 4 by increasing the safety stock value by 100% from the initial value of 48 to 96 bottles. By applyingthis scenario, the company produces 14 times per month and purchases raw materials 10 times per month, by generating an average inventory of finished products of 216 bottles and raw material inventory of 21,811 kg.
