RINGKASAN

Cookies Coffee adalah salah satu kue kering produk inovasi terbaru yang terbuat dari olahan berbahan baku kopi dan berbagai campuran bahan lainnya. Bahan baku yang digunakan pada proses produksi adalah bubuk kopi, cornflakes, kacang dan cokelat. Pada proses kegiatan produksi hal utama yang harus diperhatikan adalah persediaan bahan baku. Pada sebuah usaha yang harus dijalankan, proses persediaan bahan sangat dibutuhkan terlebih dahulu untuk melancarkan suatu produk dengan hasil yang bagus dan sempurna.
Manajemen persediaan merupakan sebuah aktiva lancar dalam suatu perusahaan dalam bentuk persediaan bahan mentah seperti bahan baku (raw material), bahan setengah jadi (work in process) dan barang jadi (finished goods). Tujuan dalam persediaan bahan baku adalah untuk mempermudah atau memperlancar proses produksi agar tidak terhambatnya kegiatan tersebut dan menjaga supaya pembentukan biaya persediaan tidak keluar terlalu besar atau berlebih-lebihan.
Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah metode eksperimental. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Persediaan bahan baku merupakan sumber daya atau input yang belum diolah atau terjadi aktivitas pada sumber daya tersebut yang menunggu proses selanjutnya. Proses selanjutnya merupakan proses produksi dan pemasaran. Tidak hanya bahan baku yang perlu disiapkan, tetapi bahan pendukung juga sangat penting ketersediaannya dalam suatu proses produksi.
Dalam melakukan kegiatan persediaan bahan baku penulis harus menghitung berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan pada setiap aktivitas produksi, karena berpengaruh besar terhadap persediaan bahan baku dan kelancaran produksi. Hasil yang didapatkan dari perhitungan yang sudah dilakukan dalam waktu tenggang, dapat disimpulkan bahwa biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk persediaan bahan baku sebesar Rp. 484.000,00 dalam sekali produksi Cookies Coffee di Banda Aceh.

SUMMARY Cookies coffee is one of the newest innovative product cookies made from processed coffee and various other mixtures of ingredients. The raw materials used in the production process are coffee grounds, cornflakes, nuts and chocolate. In the process of production activities, the main thing that must be considered is the supply of raw materials. In a business that must be run, the material inventory process is needed first to launch a product with good and perfect results. Inventory management is a current asset in a company in the form of raw material inventories such as raw materials, work in process and finished goods. The purpose of stockpiling raw materials is to simplify or expedite the production process so that these activities are not hampered and to ensure that the formation of inventory costs does not come out too large or excessive. The data collection method used in this final report is an experimental method. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. Inventories of raw materials are resources or inputs that have not been processed or activities occur on these resources awaiting further processing. The next process is the process of production and marketing. Not only the raw materials that need to be prepared, but the availability of supporting materials is also very important in a production process. In carrying out raw material inventory activities, the author must calculate how long it takes for each production activity, because it has a major effect on raw material inventory and smooth production. The results obtained from the calculations that have been carried out within the grace period, it can be concluded that the cost required for raw material inventory is Rp. 484.000,00 in one production of Cookies Coffee in Banda Aceh.
