Self Efficacy adalah suatu keyakinan atau kepercayaan diri mengenai
kemampuannya untuk mengembangkan karir dengan memilih dan memutuskan
karir yang akan ditempuh dengan memperhatikan kekuatan dan peluang yang ada
pada diri individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat Self
Efficacy siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Bener Meriah dalam
membuat keputusan karir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif
kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Sekolah Menengah
Kejuruan (SMK) di Bener Meriah yang berjumlah 1.108 siswa dengan jumlah
sampel sebanyak 294 siswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Clustered
Random Sampling dengan sekolah sebagai Cluster-nya. Data dikumpulkan
menggunakan skala Self Efficacy dalam membuat keputusan karir. Berdasarkan
pengukuran pada seluruh sekolah Self Efficacy siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
(SMK) di Bener Meriah lebih dari setengah berada pada kategori sedang yaitu
(55,8%) dan selebihnya berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu (44,2%). Sedangkan pada
masing-masing sekolah Self Efficacy dalam membuat keputusan karir siswa juga
berada pada kategori sedang kecuali pada SMK Negeri 1 Bener Meriah yang
dominan berada pada kategori tinggi.

Self efficacy is a belief or confidence about his ability to develop a career by choosing and deciding career that will be pursued by taking into account the strengths and opportunities that exist on the individual. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of Self Efficacy of Vocational High School (SMK) students in Bener Meriah in make career decisions. This study uses a descriptive approach quantitative. The population of this research is all high school students Vocational Schools (SMK) in Bener Meriah, totaling 1,108 students with a total of a sample of 294 students. Samples were taken using the Clustered technique Random Sampling with school as the Cluster. Data collected using the Self Efficacy scale in making career decisions. Based on Measurement of all schools Self Efficacy of Vocational High School students (SMK) in Bener Meriah more than half are in the medium category, namely (55.8%) and the rest are in the high category (44.2%). While on each school Self Efficacy in making student career decisions as well are in the medium category except at SMK Negeri 1 Bener Meriah which dominant in the high category.
