Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana pelaksanaan perlindungan anak korban kejahatan seksual di Kabupaten Simeulue. dan apa saja hambatan dalam pelaksanaan penanganan anak korban kejahatan seksual di Kabupaten Simeulue. Bentuk perlindungan yang diberikan oleh Kabupaten Simeulue sudah Sesuai dengan apa yang dicantumkan dalam Pasal 69A namun belum optimal. Adapun hambatan yang dihadapi yaitu Tenaga Profesional dan Sumber Daya Manusia yang Kurang, Anggaran atau Dana yang tidak mencukupi, Informasi yang Kurang Merata Kepada Masyarakat dan Kurangnya Kesadaran Masyarakat Tentang Isu Kejahatan Seksual dan Perlindungan Anak Korban Pelecehan Seksual. Disarankan kepada Pemerintah Kabupaten Simeulue untuk mengoptimalkan perlindungan anak korban kejahatan seksual, memaksimalkan anggaran untuk perlindungan terhadap anak korban kejahatan seksual, dan memaksimalkan fungsi organisasi masyarakat dan anak, seperti forum anak simeulue sebagai mitra Kerjasama pemerintah sebagai pelopor dan pelapor terhadap isu-isu tentang anak

This research aims to analyse the implementation of the protection for the child victims of sexual crimes in the Simeulue Regency and find out the obstacles in the implementation of the handling on child victims of sexual crimes in Simeulue Regency. The form of protection provided by the Simeulue Regency is in accordance with the stated regulation in the Article 69A but is not optimal yet. The founded obstacles are the lack of professional staff and human resources, the insufficiency of budget or funds, the information that is not evenly distributed to the public and the lack of public awareness about the issue of sexual crimes and the protection on the children victims of sexual harassment. It is suggested to the Government of Simeulue Regency to optimize the protection on the child victims of sexual crimes, maximize the budget for the protection on the child victims of sexual crimes, and maximize the functions of community and children organizations, such as the Simeulue Children's Forum as a partner in government cooperation as a pioneer and reporter on issues concerning children.
