EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA AUDIO-VISUAL ASI EKSKLUSIF TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN MOTIVASI IBU HAMIL UNTUK MENYUSUI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BANDA RAYA KOTA BANDA ACEH
ABSTRAK
ASI Eksklusif merupakan keadaan ketika bayi hanya menerima ASI selama 6 bulan pertama tanpa diberikan makanan padat ataupun cair. Bayi yang tidak diberikan ASI eksklusif memiliki kesempatan lebih besar untuk mengalami diare, berat badan rendah, dan resiko kematian terkait infeksi. Pentingnya informasi tentang ASI Ekslusif dapat menurunkan angka kejadian tersebut dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta motivasi ibu hamil untuk menyusui. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan edukasi terkait ASI Eksklusif menggunakan media Audio-Visual. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas media Audio-Visual ASI Eksklusif terhadap pengetahuan dan motivasi ibu hamil untuk menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Banda Raya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental study dengan desain one group pre-test post-test. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu total sampling yang berjumlah 60 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner serta analisa data menggunakan wilcoxon sign test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Audio-Visual ASI Eksklusif efektif terhadap pengetahuan (P=0,000) dan motivasi (P=0,000) pada responden. Diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan edukasi dengan menggunakan media Audio-Visual terkait pemberian ASI Eksklusif kepada ibu hamil, sehingga mereka memiliki pengetahuan dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk menyusui.

The non-breastfed baby is more likely to have diarrhea, low weight, and risk of death related to infection. The information about exclusive breastfeeding is important to decrease the number of non-breastfed baby and to improve knowledge and motivation of the pregnant women related to breastfeeding. One of the efforts which can be done was by giving counselling related to exclusive breastfeeding by using audio visual media. The aim of this research was to find out the effectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding audio-visual media toward the knowledge and motivation of pregnant women in breastfeeding in Banda Raya Community Health Center. The type of this research was pre-experimental study with one group pretest posttest. the 60 respondents were chosen by using total sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using Wilcoxon sign test. The result of the research showed that the exclusive breastfeeding audio-visual media towards th knowledge (p=0,000) and motivation (p=0,000) on the respondents. It was expected to the healthcare workers to hold more counselling related to exclusive breastfeeding to the the pregnant women by using audio-visual media in order to make them have more awareness, knowledge, and motivation related to breastfeeding.
