Tuberculosis and diabetes mellitus are two diseases that influence each other. A DM-diagnosed patient will be easily exposed to TB due to decreased immune system. Tuberculosis with DM comorbid patients will increase the risk of becoming a multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).
