This study aims to identify the contamination of Salmonella sp in roasted chicken from local restaurans in Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh. The Samples were taken from five locations in Syiah Kuala district. The locations were Lampineung, Lamgugob, Jeulingke, Peurada, and Darussalam. This study used modified Carter’s method for bacterial identification.
