Telah dilakukan penelitian pengukuran konsentrasi gas radon (222Rn) di pantai Barat Selatan dengan tujuan untuk menghitung dan mengamati pengaruh kondisi bangunan terhadap konsentrasi gas radon (222Rn) di beberapa daerah di pantai Barat Selatan, titik pengukuran penelitian berada di Kecamatan Johan Pahlawan, Kabupaten Aceh Barat dan Kecamatan Sawang, Kabupaten Aceh Selatan yang masing-masing daerah diwakili oleh 10 titik pengukuran.
