Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK dan varietas kacang tanah serta intraksi antara kedua faktor tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang tanah. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Sektor Timur dan Laboratorium Teknologi Benih Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syah Kuala, yang telah dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2021 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2022. Penelitian ini mengunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 5 x 2 dengan 3 kali ulangan, sehingga terdapat 30 satuan percobaan. Ada dua faktor yang diteliti faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk NPK terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu kontrol, 200, 250, 300 dan 350 ton ha-1 dan faktor kedua varietas Lokal Gayo Lues dan varietas Hypoma1. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua peubah. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah cenderung lebih baik dijumpai pada perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK 250 ton ha-1. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30 dan 45 HST, berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah cabang umur 15, 30 HST dan berat 100 biji, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah cabang umur 45 HST, jumlah polong barnas per tanaman, jumlah polong hampa per tanaman, berat polong per tanaman, berat biji pertanaman, dan potensi hasil (ton ha-1). Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah cenderung lebih baik dijumpai pada varietas Hypoma1. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara dosis pupuk NPK dengan varietas kacang tanah terhadap semua peubah.

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the dose of NPK fertilizer and peanut varieties and the interaction between these two factors on the growth and yield of peanuts. The research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Eastern Sector and the Seed Technology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Syah Kuala University, which has been carried out from September 2021 to January 2022. This study used a 5 x 2 factorial randomized block design (RAK) with 3 replications, So there are 30 experimental units. There were two factors studied, the first factor was the dose of NPK fertilizer consisting of 5 levels, namely control, 200, 250, 300 and 350 tons ha-1 and the second factor was the Local Gayo Lues variety and the Hypoma1 variety. The results of this study showed that the dose of NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on all variables. The growth and yield of peanuts tended to be better in the treatment with a dose of 250 tons ha-1 of NPK fertilizer. Furthermore, the results showed that varieties had a very significant effect on plant height aged 15, 30 and 45 DAP, significantly affected the number of branches aged 15, 30 DAP and weight of 100 seeds, but had no significant effect on the number of branches aged 45 DAP, the number of barnas pods per plant, number of empty pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, weight of seeds planted, and yield potential (ton ha-1). The growth and yield of peanuts tend to be better found in the Hypoma1 variety. There was no significant interaction between the dose of NPK fertilizer and peanut varieties on all variables.
