Kerang hijau merupakan hewan moluska yang popular di masyarakat dan telah banyak dibudidayakan. Aceh Jaya memiliki berbagai macam ekosistem perairan yang potensial untuk pengembangan budidaya kerang hijau, namun belum diperoleh data rinci akan kelayakan lokasi untuk budidaya kerang hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan lokasi budidaya kerang hijau di Aceh Jaya berdasarkan parameter fisika air dan tanah serta biologi air. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Juli sampai bulan Oktober 2021. Lokasi pengambilan sampel terdiri dari 3 stasiun, stasiun pertama terletak di perairan estuaria Mukim Rigaih, Kecamatan Setia Bakti, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Stasiun kedua terletak di perairan estuaria Desa Lhok Kruet, Kecamatan Sampoiniet, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Stasiun ketiga terletak di perairan Kuala Unga, Kecamatan Indrajaya, Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan data di analisis menggunakan metode rating point. Parameter fisika air meliputi kedalaman, kecerahan, arus dan suhu yang diukur secara institu serta Total Suspended Solid (TSS) yang dianalisis di Balai Riset dan Standarisasi Industri Banda Aceh. Parameter fisika tanah berupa tekstur tanah dianalisis di Laboratorium Penelitian Tanah dan Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Parameter biologi berupa plankton di analisis di Laboratorium Biologi Laut, Fakultas Kelautan dan Perikanan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis parameter fisika air stasiun 1 (Rigaih) memiliki nilai suhu, TSS, warna, bau dan arus yang optimal sehingga nilai rating pointnya tinggi dan menjadi stasiun yang direkomendasikan sebagai lokasi budidaya kerang hijau. Berdasarkan hasil analisis parameter fisika tanah maka stasiun 1 merupakan stasiun yang optimal untuk budidaya kerang hijau. Berrdasarkan parameter biologi air juga menunjukan stasiun 1 sebagai lokasi terbaik untuk budidaya kerang hijau.

Green mussels from mollusks phylum are popular in the community and they have widely cultivated. Aceh Jaya has a variety of potential aquatic ecosystems for the development of green mussel cultivation, but detailed data on the feasibility of the location for green mussel cultivation have not been obtained. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of green mussel cultivation sites in Aceh Jaya based on water and soil physics parameters and water biology. This research was conducted from July to October 2021. The sampling location consisted of 3 stations, the first station was located in the waters of the Mukim Rigaih estuary, Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The second station was located in the estuary waters of Lhok Kruet Village, Sampoiniet District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The third station was located in the waters of Kuala Unga, Indrajaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The research method used was purposive sampling and the data was analyzed using the rating point method. The physical parameters of the water observed include depth, brightness, current and temperature which were measured in-situ and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) which was analyzed at the Banda Aceh Research and Industrial Standardization Institute. Soil physical parameters in the form of soil texture were analyzed at the Soil and Plant Research Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. Biological parameters in the form of plankton were analyzed at the Marine Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. Based on the results of the analysis of water physics parameters, station 1 (Rigaih) has optimal temperature, TSS, color, odor and flow values so that the rating point value is high and is a recommended station as a location for green mussel cultivation. Based on the results of the analysis of soil physics parameters, station 1 is the optimal station for the cultivation of green mussels. Based on water biological parameters, it also shows station 1 as the recomended location for green mussel cultivation. Keywords: Green mussel, Aceh Jaya, land suitability, rating point.
