Cairan folikel mengandung beberapa hormon seperti insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), follicel-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinezing hormone (LH), estrogen dan progesterone yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan dan mempertahankan produktivitas ayam petelur. Karena hormon-hormon ini mempunyai peranan penting dalam proses produksi telur. Cairan folikel bisa didapatkan pada ovarium sapi yang berasal dari limbah rumah potong hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian cairan folikel sapi aceh terhadap jumlah produksi telur, jumlah dan ukuran folikel telur pada ayam petelur afkir strain isa brown. Pada penelitian ini digunakan ayam petelur afkir strain isa brown sebanyak 15 ekor dan dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok 1 (P1, kontrol) tanpa pemberian cairan folikel, kelompok 2 (P2) diberikan cairan folikel 1:1000 (1 ml cairan folikel + 1000 ml H2O) dan kelompok 3 (P3) diberikan cairan folikel 1:3000 (1 ml cairan folikel + 3000 ml H2O). Perlakuan diberikan selama 30 hari. Ayam selanjutnya dipotong, kemudian dihitung jumlah dan ukuran folikelnya. Parameter pada penelitian ini adalah jumlah produksi telur, jumlah dan ukuran folikel telur yaitu folikel kecil (Ø1-5mm), folikel sedang (Ø >5-10mm), dan folikel besar (Ø>10 mm). Because these hormones have an important role in the egg production process. Follicular fluid can be found in the ovaries of cows from abattoir waste. This study aims determine the effect of follicular fluid administration in Aceh cattle on the number of egg production, the number and size of egg follicles in laying hens rejected isa brown strain. In this study, 15 discarded laying hens were used and divided into 3 treatment groups, namely group 1 (P1, control) without follicular fluid administration, group 2 (P2) given 1:1000 follicular fluid (1 ml follicular fluid + 1000 ml H2O) and group 3 (P3) were given 1:3000 follicular fluid (1 ml follicular fluid + 3000 ml H2O). The treatment was given for 30 days. The chicken is then cut, then the number and size of the follicles are counted. The parameters in this study were the number of egg production, the number and size of the egg follicles, namely small follicles (Ø1-5mm), medium follicles (Ø>5-10mm), and large follicles (Ø>10 mm). Data were analyzed using one way ANOVA test. The results showed that the number of egg production per day in groups P2 and P3 was significantly higher (P
