Kopi merupakan minuman yang banyak disukai oleh masyarakat Indonesia khususnya masyarakat Aceh. Salah satu kopi yang terkenal yaitu kopi Gayo. Namun banyak yang tidak tahu proses pengolahan kopi ini. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk memberitahu mengenai proses pengolahan kopi Gayo kepada masyarakat luas yaitu membuat video animasi 2D. Video animasi dua dimensi ini, memuat informasi mengenai proses pengolahan buah kopi menjadi secangkir kopi membutuhkan proses yang lama. Mulai dari teknik budidaya buah kopi hingga menghasilkan biji kopi terbaik yang akan diseduh menjadi secangkir kopi. Buah kopi secara umum diproses dengan 2 (dua) teknik yaitu secara basah dan secara kering selain proses tersebut juga terdapat proses semi basah dan semi kering. Proses pengolahan kopi secara basah yaitu panen buah kopi, sortasi buah kopi, pengupasan kulit buah merah, fermentasi, pencucian, pengeringan, pengupasan kulit ari dan kulit tanduk, sortasi biji kopi, pengemasan dan penyimpanan. Sedangkan proses pengolahan kopi secara kering yaitu panen buah kopi, sortasi buah kopi, pengeringan, pengupasan, sortasi biji kopi, pengemasan dan penyimpanan. Setelah kopi di roasting ada beberapa hal yang tidak seharusnya dilakukan pada biji kopi seperti langsung digiling atau langsung diseduh sebaiknya menunggu waktu minimal 4 jam dan maksimal 7 hari untuk membuat cita rasa kopi semakin nikmat. Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam proses pembuatan video animasi yaitu aplikasi, Adobe Illustrator dan Adobe After Effect. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan video animasi ini yaitu tahap pra produksi, tahap produksi dan tahap pasca produksi. Tahap desain dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Illustrator. Tahap editing dan tahap rendering video menggunakan aplikasi Adobe After Effect. Diharapkan dengan adanya video animasi proses pengolahan kopi Gayo ini masyarakat menjadi tahu proses pengolahannya.

Coffee is a drink that has a lot of input by the Indonesian people, especially the people of Aceh. One of the famous coffees is Gayo coffee. However, many do not know this coffee processing process. One way that can be done to find out the process of processing Gayo coffee to the wider community is making 2-dimensional animated videos. This two- dimensional animated video contains information about the processing of coffee cherries into a cup of coffee which requires a long process. Starting from the coffee fruit cultivation technique to producing the best coffee beans that will become a cup of coffee. In general, coffee cherries are placed using 2 (two) techniques, namely wet and dry processes, there are also semi-wet and semi-dry processes. Wet processing includes harvesting coffee cherries, sorting coffee cherries, peeling red fruit skins, fermentation, washing, drying, stripping the epidermis and hornbills, sorting coffee beans, packaging and storing. While the dry processing of coffee is harvesting coffee cherries, sorting coffee cherries, drying, peeling, sorting coffee beans, packaging and storing. After roasting the coffee, there are some things that should not be done with coffee beans, such as immediately grinding or waiting at least 4 hours and a maximum of 7 days to make the coffee taste even more delicious. Applications that are used in the process of making animated videos are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. The method used in making this animated video is the pre-production stage, the production stage and the post-production stage. The design stage is carried out using the Adobe Illustrator application. The editing stage and video rendering stage use the Adobe After Effects application. It is hoped that with this animated video processing Gayo coffee, the public will know the processing process.
