Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Bantuan Produksi Usaha Mikro (BPUM) yang diberikan oleh pemerintah kepada pelaku Usaha Mikro berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan Usaha Mikro di Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membandingkan perbedaan modal usaha dan omset penjualan pada Usaha Mikro sebelum dan sesudah menerima BPUM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pelaku Usaha Mikro penerima BPUM di Kabupaten Pidie yang berjumlah 1087 pelaku usaha. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 92 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan angket untuk memperoleh data tentang perkembangan usaha Usaha Mikro sebelum dan sesudah menerima BPUM. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji pangkat tanda Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada perbedaan antara modal usaha sebelum dan sesudah pembiayaan, modal usaha mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,95%. (2) Ada perbedaan antara omset penjualan sebelum dan sesudah pembiayaan, omset penjualan meningkat sebesar 10,41%.

This study aims to analyze whether if Micro-Enterpises Production Assistance given by government to Micro Entrepreneurs take effect on the development of Micro-Enterpises in Pidie Regency. This study implemented by compare the differences of venture capital and sales turnover from a Micro-Enterpises before and after receiving Micro-Enterpises Production Assistance. The research method is carried out using a type of quantitative comparative approach. The population of this study are Micro Entrepreneurs who has received Micro-Enterpises Production Assistance in Pidie Regency which number 1087 people. While samples for this study it self was selected by simple random sampling, ths sample of this research is 92 respondents. Data was collected using documentation and questionnaire techniques to obtain on the development of Micro-Enterprises. While the technique for analyzing data is using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of the study found that: (1) There are the differences of venture capital between before and after receiving Micro-Enterpises Production Assistance, the vanture capital increased by 12,95%. (2) There are the differences of sales turnover between before and after receiving Micro-Enterpises Production Assistance, the sales turnover increased by 10,41%.
