Google Classroom is very often used for online learning in formal education institutions. This study aims at finding out what features in Google Classroom are considered most effective among secondary school students in learning English. This quantitative research utilized the data collected using a closed-ended questionnaire and indicator of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The number of respondents was 233 with 85 males and 148 females from senior high schools. The data were classified into groups and analyzed using Kruskal Wallis test and pairwise Wilcoxon test. The analysis results show that the features that can make students to use Google Classroom easily are additional features. In addition, this study found that the People feature was the most useful feature in Google Classroom, and all the Google Classroom features can increase students’ interest in learning. Based on these results, it can be concluded that all features in Google Classroom are significant for online English classes, especially the People feature to allow students to enroll and additional features to enable access in portable devises. Therefore, teachers are expected to always use all features in Google Classroom, with specific focus on the People feature and additional features, in teaching online English classes.
