ABSTRAK



Telah dilakukan penelitian perhitungan dan analisis dosis serap radiasi foto thorax pada pasien anak. Pemeriksaan foto thorax digunakan untuk membantu dokter dalam membuat berbagai diagnosis. Selain memberikan manfaat, radiasi sinar-X juga memiliki efek yang menjadi perhatian apalagi jika diterapkan pada pasien anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara dosis radiasi yang diterima oleh pasien anak di Instalasi Radiologi RSUD Meuraxa, Banda Aceh dengan dosis radiasi yang telah ditetapkan UNSCEAR dan alat multimeter X-ray sebagai penguji. Parameter yang digunakan yaitu tegangan tabung (kV), arus (mA), waktu (s) dan jarak atau FFD (cm) dari sumber radiasi. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah pasien anak rentang umur 1-15 tahun sebanyak 15 pasien dan dikelompokkan berdasarkan kategori umur yang ditetapkan oleh UNSCEAR. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian perbandingan keluaran dosis radiasi pesawat sinar X dari RSUD dengan multimeter X-ray serta dianalisa kesesuaian hasil kedua data tersebut dengan batas toleransi yang ditetapkan oleh PERKA BAPETEN No.9 Tahun 2011. Dari hasil secara keseluruhan dosis serap rata-rata yang diterima oleh pasien anak dibawah standar dosis dari rekomendasi UNSCEAR. Sedangkan kinerja pesawat sinar-X berfungsi dengan baik dan layak digunakan, karena masih dalam batas toleransi ± 10% atau tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan yang diperoleh dari pengujian multimeter X-ray.

ABSTRACT Research on the calculation and analysis of the absorbed dose of thorax photo radiation has been carried out on pediatric patients. Thorax photo examination is used to assist doctors in making various diagnoses. In addition to its benefits, X-ray radiation also has an alarming effect to patients, especially to child patients. This study aims to find out the correspondence between the radiation dose received by pediatric patients at the Radiology Installation at Banda Aceh Meuraxa Hospital with the radiation dose that has been determined by UNSCEAR and the X-ray multimeter as a tester. The parameters used are tube voltage (kV), current (mA), time (s) and distance or FFD (cm) from the radiation source. The object of this study was 15 pediatric patients aged 1-15 years and grouped based on the age category set by UNSCEAR. Then, a comparative test of the radiation dose output between an X-ray machine from the hospital and an X-ray multimeter. Then the results were analyzed for the suitability of the two data with the tolerance limit set by PERKA BAPETEN Number 9 of 2011. The results showed the average absorbed dose received by pediatric patients is below the UNSCEAR's recommended standard dose. Meanwhile, the X-ray machine was functioning properly and was fit for use as it didn't go beyond the tolerance limit of about 10% and there is no significant difference from the X-ray multimeter test.
