<note>A sound system which is also called as phonetics is an inventory of items in a language that can represent one of the two elements of the structure C (consonant) or the structure V (vowel). The objectives of this study are to provide a clear description of the Acehnese sound system and to compare the sound system with the English sound system in order to find out the similarities and differences between them.
