 <note>This study is entitled &quot;The Theory of Mind Mapping Technique for Writing Activity.&quot; The objective of this study  is to examine  some given theories  or research  findings  on the use of mind  mapping  technique  for writing activity. The discussion of this study is focused on the using mind mapping technique for writing activity. The results of this  script  are  mind  mapping may  a  good  strategy  to  use  in learning  in  order  to motivate  students  and  help students  to  express  their  ideas  fluently,  especially  in writing   class.  The  method   used  in  this  study   is  library  research.  Based  on  the research  findings  and  experts' statements,  it  indicates  that   mind  mapping   may improve  students'  ability  to express  their ideas  in writing  activity.  Th.is study  is expected  to be useful for English teachers  and readers.&#13;
