Through this literature study the writer was trying to solve some problems of student in learning English, especially in pronunciation. The writer proposed the use of songs in improving students' ability of pronunciation. The purpose of this research is to elaborately explain the theories related to the improvement of pronunciation by using song. Materials of this study were taken from library study and accessed form world wide web (internet). The method that used in this study was library study. This study revealed the use of song specifically in teaching to improve students' pronunciation. It explains on how technically songs can stimulate the memory of students to remember words' pronunciation. Based on this study, it is found that the use of songs in teaching English is effective to improve the students' pronunciation and very beneficial for the students in order to facilitate them in learning English. Based on this finding, it is suggested that songs in teaching English can be recommended for the English teachers
