ABSTRAK

Pendahuluan: Osteoartritis (OA) panggul adalah penyakit degeneratif kronik non inflamasi yang berkaitan dengan kerusakan kartilago sendi panggul. Penyakit ini bersifat progresif sehingga pada tahap lanjut diperlukan prosedur pembedahan seperti total hip replacement (THR). Prosedur THR dilakukan untuk mengatasi gejala dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi baiknya luaran pasca pembedahan perlu di evaluasi dengan baik untuk kepentingan prognostik.
Metode: Penelitian ini termasuk studi observasional dengan desain kohort prospektif yang dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Dilakukan evaluasi terhadap usia, jenis kelamin, dan indeks masa tubuh di terhadap luaran pasca prosedur THR. Luaran penderita OA panggul pasca prosedur THR dinilai menggunakan Haris Hip Score (HHS). Analisis Spearman’s Rank test dan Mann – Whitney U test dilakukan dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%.
Hasil: Sebanyak 40 penderita OA panggul terlibat dalam penelitian ini dengan rerata usia diatas 63 tahun dengan dominasi jenis kelamin perempuan. Faktor usia berkaitan dengan luaran pasien OA panggul pasca prosedur THR (p 0,05).
Kesimpulan: Faktor usia berkaitan dengan luaran penderita OA panggul pasca THR dimana semakin muda usia maka akan semakin baik luarannya.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Osteoarthritis (OA) of the hip is a chronic non-inflammatory degenerative disease associated with damage to the cartilage of the hip joint. This disease is progressive so that at an advanced stage procedures such as total hip replacement (THR) are needed. The THR procedure is performed to treat symptoms and improve the patient's quality of life. Factors that influence the impact of post- evaluation outcomes need to be evaluated properly for prognostic purposes. Methods: This study is an observational study with a prospective cohort design conducted at the dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Evaluation of age, sex, and body mass index after the THR procedure. The outcome of patients with hip OA after the THR procedure was assessed using the Haris Hip Score (HHS). The analysis of Spearman's Rank test and Mann – Whitney U test was carried out with a 95% confidence level. Results: A total of 40 participants with hip OA were involved in this study with a mean age of over 63 years with a female predominance. Age factor was related to the outcome of hip OA patients after THR procedure (p 0.05). Conclusion: The age factor is related to the outcome of post-THR hip OA patients whereas younger age shows better outcome. Keywords: Hip osteoarthritis, total hip replacement, outcome
