This study is dealing with the morphology of adjectives in Minangkabau Dialect of Limo Puluh Koto. The aim of this study is lo gel a complete information about the morphology of adjectives in Minangkabau Dialect of Limo Puluh Koto. This study discusses the process of word formations through affixation and reduplication. The affixation is a process of word formation by adding affixes to a word or free morpheme. While reduplication is a process of word formation by repeating the stems. The population of this study consisted of all utterances of the native speakers of Minangkabau, Limo Puluh Koto dialect. The sample were taken from five native speakers who lived in Ibuh, Tanjung Pauh, subdistrie of Payakumbuh, West Sumatera. To identify the adjectives in Minangkabau dialect of Limo Puluh Koto, there are five modificators that is used to modify a root : bana, palion, labich, ku Yan and aga?. Bana means very. It shows as superlative word. Palion means "-est. It shows as superlative word. Labioh means "more". It shows as comperative word. Kuyan means "less. It shows as comperative word, the opposite of "-er / more" in English. aga? means "somewhat or rather". In Minangkabau dialect of Limo Puluh Koto, there are only two prefixes that are used to form adjective : / ba- / and sa- /. and there is only complete reduplication that shows as adjective.
