Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) becomes a current method used in teaching grammar since the most teachers elaborate the grammar points and use games in teaching and learning process. The aims of this study are to find out the better way of how TBLT is applied in teaching grammar and elaborates the procedures of TBLT that help grammar acquisition. The research design used in this study is library research where the writer compared the methodology of TBLT between Willis and Ellis in relation to teach grammar. In order to get a better understanding about both of methodologies above, the writer found and analyzed some data resources such as, journals, articles, books and research findings, and some the theories related to TBLT of Willis and Ellis in order to gain deep knowledge and understanding which procedure is better and more appropriate to be used in teaching grammar. After reading relevant theories, the writer assumes that both of methodologies either Willis or Ellis can be used in teaching grammar , because it has brought some benefits for teaching grammar. In addition, it is easy to follow because it consists of some steps that the teachers should follow in order to get the result of good teaching grammar. Moreover, the procedures of TBLT from both Willis and Ellis will be better when they are combined one another.
