Penelitian kerentanan pesisir dengan studi kasus wilayah kota Banda Aceh telah dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan mengkaji tingkat kerentanan pesisir kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode coastal vulnerability index (CVI) yang diukur dengan delapan (8) parameter kajian. Penelitian ini membagi daerah studi menjadi beberapa sel yang masing-masing sel memiliki ruang 200 m x 200 m sepanjang pantai kota Banda Aceh. Nilai CVI dihitung untuk setiap sel dan pantai kerentanan diklasifikasikan menjadi lima kategori: tidak rentan, kurang rentan, sedang, rentan, dan sangat rentan. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa pantai kota Banda Aceh memiliki kategori tingkat keretanan dari moderat sampai rentan yang bernilai antara 68,47 sampai dengan 153,9.

The coastal vulnerability research with a case study of City of Banda Aceh coastal area has been carried out from March to May 2021. The study aims to observe and assess the level of vulnerability of the coastal city of Banda Aceh. The method used in this study is the coastal vulnerability index (CVI) method which is measured by eight (8) parameters. This research divided the study area into several cells, each cell has a space of 200 m x 200 m along the coast of Banda Aceh City. The CVI values were calculated for each cell and the vulnerability coast was classified into five categories: not vulnerable, less vulnerable, moderate, vulnerable, and very vulnerable. The results of the analysis show that the coast of Banda Aceh has a category of fracture level from moderate to vulnerable which is worth between 68.47 to 153.9.
