Title : The Useful of Jigsaw Picture Story in Teaching Writing of
Narrative text at The Second Grade Junior High School.

The method used in this study is library research. This study is expected to be useful for other English teachers. The objective of this study is to analyze theoretically the effectiveness of jigsaw technique in teaching writing of narrative text based on picture story in order to solve some problems in writing, Such as: students had lack of vocabulary. students were lack of motivation, lack of grammar understanding, and difficult in developing the ideas. Based on theoretical point of view, it is found that Jigsaw technique can be effectively used in teaching writing because it can make students participate and generate ideas by running all of the procedures and activities in teaching writing, and then jigsaw can build strong cooperation and personal relationship between the teacher and the students in order to make students enjoy their learning process because they can share, help, ask, and picture story can make it more effectively because it has visualization that is useful for understanding it Therefore, the students can solve problems together when they write.
