Thesis Title : The Implementation of Think Pair Share Model on Teaching
Writing Analytical Exposition Text for the ;rt Year student of Senior High School

Writing is considered as an important communication tool and Think Pair Share Technique is a good technique to improve the students' ability of writing. The objective of this study is to look at some given theories and/or research findings on the implementation of Think Pair Share Technique for teaching writing skill. The discussion of the technique is focused on a certain activity on the Think Pair Share Technique, namely thinking, pairing and sharing activity. The study found that implementing the technique can facilitate the students exchange their ideas and/or information in a useful manner. Besides, each student has equal opportunity to participate or practice the Language. It also found that the students are highly motivated, pleased and helpful to overcome the writing problems in many aspects of the language. The method used in this study is library research. Readings obtained from various was processed and described in a descriptive way. Based on the research findings and experts' statements, it was found that Think Pair Share Technique is effective to enhance the students' writing skill. This study is expected to be useful for other English teachers as a good technique to improve and develop students' ability in writing.
