The  writer  conducted  this  study  with  the aim  to find  out  some  related  theories  and supported   statements   about  the  Picture   and  Picture   Model  especially   in  teaching writing  skill  and  solving  some  writing  problems  faced  by students,  such  as  getting ideas,  lack  of  vocabulary,   misspelling   and  lack  of  grammar   mastery.   Picture  and Picture  Model  is  one  of  the  models  in  Cooperative   Learning  which  uses  random pictures  to put in the right and logic order which  helps the students  to get the concept about the story before they start writing  narrative  text. Library research  is used in this study.  The  data   needed   in  this  study   is  collected   in  the  form   of  theories   and statements   that  are  suggested   by  the  specialists   taken  from  books,  journals,   and internet  related  to  Picture  and  Picture  Model  in teaching  writing  skill.  This  study found  that  implementing   Picture  and  Picture  Model  in teaching  narrative  helps  the students   in  getting   idea,   lack  of  vocabulary,    misspelling   and  Jack  of  grammar mastery  because  they  already  get  the  concept  about  what  they  will  write  from  the pictures  based  on  its  sequence   of  events.  Visual  aids  such  as  pictures   will  foster students'  imagination,  which in turn  motivates  them to write narrative  text.&#13;
