Through  this literature  study  the writer was trying  to solve some problem  of students' problems   in communicating   with  English.  The  difficulties   faced  by the  students   in speaking  can be divided  into two kinds of problem,  namely,  linguistic  problems  (lack of  vocabulary,    lack  of  grammar   knowledge,    and  poor  pronunciation)    and   non- linguistic   problems   (not  confident,   shy,  nervous,  afraid,  etc.).  The  purpose  of  this scientific  work  is to explore  some  theories  about  teaching  speaking  skill  and  to find out the best techniques  that can be applied  in Elementary   School  Level, which  is the writer   trying   to  propose   is  games   technique   especially    Guessing   Game.   Game technique  can  solve  both linguistic  and  non-linguistic   problems.  Guessing   games  is believed  can give the positive  effect  and joyful  learning  to the students  in developing their speaking  skill.  Guessing  games  can also give  more opportunities   to students  to make  turns  in speaking  during  the times  allocated.  The  method  used  in this  study  is library  research.  The data  is extracted  from  various  resources  and it is processed  and described    in  a  descriptive    way.   Based   on   the   research    findings   and   experts' statements,   it is found  that Guessing  Games  is an effective  technique  to enhance  the students'    speaking   skill.  This   study   is  expected   to  be  useful   for  other   English teachers.&#13;
