Thesis Title : The Use of Total Physical Response Method on the Students' Vocabulary Achievement
The objective of this study is to look at some given theories and/or research findings on the use of Total Physical Response in teaching vocabulary. Teaching English, especially for children, should be enjoyable, interesting, repetitive and understandable. However, students sometimes get difficulties to apply the vocabulary. In doing so, the teacher should be apply appropriate method in teaching vocabulary. The study found that using total physical response can make young learners enjoyable and interested to learn english and make the students more active in teaching learning. The methodology that is used in this research is literature study. It is conducted by searching and collecting references such as books, journals, articles and the previous research. Based on the research finding and experts' statements, the writer assumed that Total Physical Response is an effective method in teaching vocabulary to young learners. Therefore, Total Physical Response can be one of the alternative method that teacher should consider in teaching vocabulary.
