 <note>The objective  of this study is  to look at some given theories and /  or research findings on the use of simulation  technique in  teaching speaking skill. Speaking is the important part of language learning process. To know students have mastered a language is by knowing that they are able to speak in that language.  However, many students still get the difficulties in speaking. That is why there must be an effective and innovative technique  in  teaching  speaking.  This  study found that simulation technique is  the appropriate technique  that can  solve the  problems faced by the students. This study use library  research as a method.  All the materials of this study are accessed trough the library and the website on the internet and described in a descriptive way. This study is expected to be a model for a lot of teachers in teaching speaking in language classroom.&#13;
