 <note>This   study   is  entitled  Teaching   Reading   Comprehension  through   Cooperative Integrated   Reading  and  Composition   (CIRC)  Technique  for junior  high  school students.  Reading  is an activity to  get  meaning  from the  printed  page. However, understanding what  is read is difficult  for students  so that teacher  should prepare  a suitable technique  in teaching  reading  to make  students  understand  what  they  are reading.  Cooperative  Integrated  Reading and  Composition  (CIRC)  Technique  is a technique   included  in  Cooperative   Learning  method  that  teacher  could  apply  in teaching reading. This research was conducted to find out the explanation of implementing Cooperative  Integrated  Reading  and Composition  (CIRC) Technique which aims at enhancing  students'  ability in comprehending reading text.  To obtain the data, the writer conducted  library research in searching references it trough book, journal,  article,  and  the  previous  research.  In conclusion,  Cooperative   Integrated Reading   and  Composition  (CIRC)   Technique   could   be  one  of the  alternative techniques  that the teacher must consider in teaching reading.&#13;
