Penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh persepsi risiko jurnalis dimasa pandemi Covid-19 terhadap kegiatan jurnalistik di Aceh dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei eksplanatori. Pada penelitian ini menguji teori persepsi risiko oleh Slovic. Teori ini memiliki asumsi bahwa individu berperilaku rasional dengan menimbang informasi sebelum membuat suatu keputusan, individu memiliki ketakutan yang berlebih karena informasi yang tidak memadai atau informasi yang tidak benar, dan semakin tinggi tingkat persepsi risiko yang dimiliki individu maka akan semakin tinggi pula individu menghindari suatu risiko atau mengurangi persepsi akan suatu bahaya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner atau angket sedangkan pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah responden 84 orang. Hasil uji hipotesis membuktikan bahwa persepsi risiko jurnalis dimasa pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi kegiatan jurnalistik di Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa uji normalitas pada penelitian ini berdistribusi normal sedangkan hasil uji analisis regresi linear sederhana dari variabel X dan variabel Y yaitu 0,334.

This research is with the aim of knowing how much influence the risk perceptions of journalists during the Covid-19 pandemic on journalistic activities in Aceh by using this type of quantitative research with the explanatory survey method. In this study, Slovic tested the theory of risk perception. This theory has the assumption that individuals behave rationally by weighing information before making a decision, individuals have excessive fear due to inadequate information or incorrect information, and the higher the level of risk perception that an individual has, the higher the individual will avoid risk or reduce the perception of a hazard. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire or questionnaire while the sample was taken using accidental sampling with a total of 84 respondents. The results of the hypothesis test prove that the risk perceptions of journalists during the Covid-19 pandemic affect journalistic activities in Aceh. The results showed that the normality test in this study was normally distributed, while the results of the simple linear regression analysis of the X and Y variables were 0.334.
