PENANGANAN DAN PERAWATAN MASTITIS KLINIS PADA KUCING PERSIA DI KLINIK CENTRAL PET CARE, BANDA ACEH Anif Tahul Janaah (1802001010004) drh. Rastina, M.Si ABSTRAK Mastitis adalah peradangan pada glandula mammae karena infeksi bakteri pada masa laktasi. Mastitis klinis adalah mastitis yang memiliki gejala klinis dan menunjukkan perubahan pada air susu. Penyebab mastitis dapat disebabkan oleh trauma, lingkungan tidak bersih, dan infeksi bakteri. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan dalam penanganan dan perawatan mastitis klinis pada kucing persia di klinik Central Pet Care. Berdasarkan anamnesa, kucing mengalami pembesaran pada mamae dengan konsistensi keras, gejala klinis dan pemeriksaan fisik penanganannya dengan melakukan tindakan pembedahan pada mamme untuk mengeluarkan cairan/nanah di dalamnya. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kucing persia tersebut mengalami mastitis klinis dengan dilakukan pembedahan. Kata kunci : Mastitis klinis, kucing persia. Clinical mastitis is mastitis that has clinical symptoms and shows changes in the milk. The cause of mastitis can be caused by trauma, unclean environment, and bacterial infection. The purpose of this activity is to determine the stages in the handling and treatment of clinical mastitis in Persian cats at the Central Pet Care clinic. Based on the anamnesis, the cat had enlarged breasts with hard consistency, clinical symptoms and physical examination were treated by performing surgery on the mammary glands to remove the fluid/pus inside. Based on the results of the examination, it can be concluded that the Persian cat had clinical mastitis with surgery.
