The level of mother's knowledge about the general guidelines for balanced nutrition can affect the diet of toddlers which in turn will affect the nutritional status of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about nutrition and nutritional status of children under five. This study used a correlation analytic observation method involving a total sample of 37 respondents. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge of the nutritional status of children under five. Although the strength of the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the nutritional status of children under five is quite low (0,391), this variable relationship means that the better the level of knowledge of the mother, the better the nutritional status of the children.
