Pengaruh Sirkulasi Air Kolam Budidaya Ikan dan Media Tanam Non Tanah Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Konsentrasi Hara Tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.)

Abstrak, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan dan jenis media tanam non tanah terhadap pertumbuhan dan konsentrasi hara tanaman pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) dan bagaimana pengaruh interaksi keduanya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga Oktober 2020 di Gampong Pineung, Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. Analisis konsentrasi hara tanaman dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pengujian, Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Aceh. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 4 x 2 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan yang terdiri dari 2 taraf (tanpa sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan dan menggunakan sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan) dan jenis media tanam non tanah (limbah serutan kayu, limbah sabut kelapa, biochar batok kelapa dan biochar cangkang kopi). Analisis data menggunakan Anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 0,05%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa media tanam non tanah berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat kering tanaman, konsentrasi hara N dan konsentrasi hara K tanaman pakcoy umur 32 HST, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap konsentrasi hara P tanaman pakcoy umur 32 HST. Pertumbuhan terbaik tanaman pakcoy dijumpai pada media tanam non tanah limbah sabut kelapa. Konsentrasi hara tanaman pakcoy terbaik dijumpai pada media tanam non tanah biochar batok kelapa. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara sirkulasi air kolam budidaya ikan dan media tanam non tanah terhadap pertumbuhan dan konsentrasi hara tanaman pakcoy.

Effect of Water Circulation of Fish Cultivation Ponds and Media Non Soil Planting on Growth and Concentration Pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) Plant Nutrients

Abstract, This study aims to determine the effect of circulating water in aquaculture ponds and types of non-soil growing media on the growth and nutrient concentration of pakcoy (Brassica chinensis L.) and how the interaction between the two influences. The research was carried out from June to October 2020 in Pineung Village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh. Analysis of plant nutrient concentrations was carried out at the Testing Laboratory, Center for the Assessment of Agricultural Technology Aceh. The research design used was a 4 x 2 factorial randomized block design with 3 replications. The factors studied were the circulation of water in fish farming ponds which consisted of 2 levels (without circulating water in fish farming ponds and using circulating water in fish culture ponds) and types of non-soil growing media (wood shavings waste, coconut husk waste, coconut shell biochar and coffee shell biochar). Data analysis using ANOVA and continued with a test of least significance different (LSD) at 0.05% level. The results showed that the circulation of the fish culture pond water had no significant effect on all the observed parameters. The results also showed that non-soil growing media had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, plant dry weight, nutrient N concentration and nutrient K concentration for pakcoy plants aged 32 DAP, but had no significant effect on P nutrient concentrations for Pakcoy plants aged 32 DAP. The best growth of pakcoy plants was found in non-soil planting media of coconut husk waste. The best concentration of pakcoy plant nutrients was found in coconut shell biochar non-soil planting media. There was an insignificant interaction between circulating water in fish farming ponds and non-soil growing media on the growth and nutrient concentration of pakcoy plants.
