ANATOMI MAKROSKOPIS DAN MIKROSKOPIS DUKTUS EFEREN PADA SAPI ACEH JANTAN




ABSTRAK

Duktus eferen merupakan saluran spermatozoa yang berada diantara testis dan duktus epididimis. Sampai saat ini data mengenai anatomi makroskopis dan mikroskopis duktus eferen pada sapi aceh belum dilaporkan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui anatomi duktus eferen sapi aceh secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Sebanyak lima pasang sampel duktus eferen yang melekat pada testis dan epididimis dikoleksi dari lima ekor sapi aceh jantan dewasa dalam kondisi sehat. Sampel organ duktus eferen selanjutnya dipisahkan dari jaringan testis dan epididimis dan diamati secara makroskopis untuk mendapatkan data morfologi dan morfometri lalu diproses secara histoteknik untuk memperoleh data histologi dan histomorfometri. Berdasarkan pengamatan diperoleh morfologi duktus eferen berupa saluran pendek yang terdapat diantara testis dan initial segment dari kaput epididimis. Panjang duktus eferen sapi aceh adalah 2.20±0.25 mm. Secara histologi, mukosa duktus eferen sapi aceh dilapisi oleh sel-sel epitel kolumnar bersilia dan tidak bersilia, sel kuboid yang tidak bersilia, sel principal, dan sel basal. Selain itu, duktus eferen dikelilingi oleh jarigan ikat fibrosa yang terdapat di bagian membran basal dan juga dikelilingi oleh serabut otot polos. Rataan diameter duktus eferen adalah 206.54±42.31 ?m dengan diameter lumen 138.86±38.44 ?m dan tebal lapisan epitel 37.85±8.50 ?m. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa duktus eferen sapi aceh dapat diamati secara makroskopis berupa saluran pendek yang tersusun atas lapisan epitel, jaringan ikat, buluh darah, dan serabut otot polos.

Macroscopic and Microscopic Anatomy of Ductus Efferent in
The Aceh Cattle




ABSTRACT

The efferent duct is spermatozoa duct which is located between the testes and the epididymal duct. However, data regarding the macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the efferent duct in Aceh cattle have not been reported. Therefore, this study aims to determine the anatomy of the efferent duct of Aceh cattle macroscopically and microscopically. Five pairs of samples of the efferent ducts attached to the testes and epididymis were collected from five healthy adult aceh cattle. Samples of the efferent duct were then separated from the testicular tissue and epididymis and observed macroscopically to obtain morphological and morphometric data and then processed histotechnically to obtain histological and histomorphometric data. Based on observations, the morphology of the efferent duct was obtained in the form of a short duct between the testes and the intial segment of the epididymal head. The length of the efferent duct of Aceh cattle was 2.20±0.25 mm. Histologically, the mucosa of efferent duct was lined by ciliated and non-ciliated columnar epithelial cells, non-ciliated cuboidal cells, principal cells, and basal cells. In addition, the efferent ducts were surrounded by fibrous connective tissue found in the basement membrane and also surrounded by smooth muscle fibers. The mean efferent ductal diameter was 206.54±42.31 ?m with a lumen diameter of 138.86±38.44 ?m and an epithelial layer thickness of 37.85±8.50 ?m. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the efferent duct of Aceh cattle can be observed macroscopically in the form of a short duct which is composed of an epithelial layer, connective tissue, blood vessels, and smooth muscle fibers.
