This research aims to look at the effect of Dictogloss in teaching listening on students’ listening skill (A Library Research). Dictogloss is a teaching technique that combines different language skills and promotes collaborative learning in the classroom. The researcher focuses on the lack of students' listening skill and aims to find out the effectiveness of the Dictogloss technique to enhance students' listening skills. The method of this study is library research and the data attached in this research are obtained from the previous works of the other researchers and some literature sources include journals, books, articles, and internet websites. The results of this study show that the students listening skills were improved after they were given the treatment using Dictogloss technique. It can be seen from every result findings from previous study by using Dictogloss technique. Dictogloss technique helps the students to learn collaboratively, increase self-confidents, incresease students’ motivation, self-assessment, students’ interest in the classroom and if implemented correctly, dictogloss technique can also promotes students’ autonomy. To sum up, the dictogloss technique is considered as the teaching technique to improve students' listening skills.
