Student learning outcomes, especially vocabulary mastery in reading comprehension at MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh, are still relatively low. This is caused by students’ lack of interest and motivation in learning so that new strategies are needed, one of which is by using scrabble game technique. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes through the application of the scrabble game technique on Narrative text material at MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh. In addition, this study was also conducted to see the percentage of students' mastery for each type of vocabulary in the form of nouns, verbs, pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, and conjunctions. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of pre-experimental research that uses a one group pre-test post-test design to measure student learning outcomes. The population is all students of class VIII MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh. The sample is students of class VII-6, totaling 30 people and selected by purposive sampling. The instrument of this research is a test of learning outcomes in the form of 30 questions consisting of 18 multiple choice questions, 6 fill in the blank, and 6 matching the word. Learning outcomes data were analyzed using the right-hand t-test after the prerequisite test was met. The results of data analysis obtained tcount = 19.68 with = 0.05 and dk = 29 then obtained ttable = 1.70 so it was concluded that student learning outcomes were better after being taught through scrabble game narrative text techniques at MTsN Rukoh Banda Aceh. From the results of the study, it was found that the percentage of mastery of nouns and verbs in the posttest was better than other types of vocabulary with each percentage for nouns 93%, verbs 91%, pronouns 84%, adverbs 72%, adjectives 71%, and conjunctions 71%
