ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisa Peran Kepolisian Dalam Memberantas Perjudian Di Polres Aceh Tenggara”. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan untuk mengetahui Peran kepolisian dalam memberantas perjudian di polres Aceh Tenggara. Serta membahas tentang peran Perangkat Desa dan peran masyarakat dalam meminimalisir perjudian di Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus yang bertujuan memaparkan Analisa Peran Kepolisian Dalam Memberantas Perjudian Di Polres Aceh Tenggara. Dalam menentukan informan peneliti menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala bagian Ditreskrimum Polres Aceh Tenggara, 4 Kepala Desa, penyedia tempat judi, saksi/warga setempat dan pelaku judi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, dan wawancara. Setelah data terkumpul maka dilakukannya sebuah analisis data yang berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk menganalisa fenomena tersebut, peneliti menggunakan teori struktural fungsional oleh Robert King Merton. Peran Kepolisian dalam memberantas perjudian di Polres Aceh Tenggara dapat dilihat dengan teori fungsionalisme struktural oleh Robert K. Merton .Fungsi manifest Kepolisian dan Aparat Desa dalam pemberantasan perjudian dengan cara memberikan pemahaman, penjelasan dan mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat mengenai tindak pidana perjudian oleh Polres Aceh Tenggara.Hambatan Kepolisian dalam dalam memberantas perjudian di Polres Aceh Tenggara dapat dilihat dengan teori fungsionalisme struktural oleh Robert K. Merton Saran peneliti bagi pihak Kepolisian agar lebih tegas dalam menjalankan tugasnya dan hendaknya transparansi dalam menangani tindak pidana khususnya tindak pidana perjudian.

ABSTRACT
This study is entitled "Analysis of the Role of the Police in Combating Gambling at the Southeast Aceh Police". This study analyzes and finds out the role of the Police in eradicating gambling at the Southeast Aceh Police. As well as discussing the role of village officials and the role of the community in minimizing gambling in Southeast Aceh. This study uses a case study method that aims to describe the analysis of the role of the police in eradicating gambling at the Southeast Aceh Police. In determining the informant, the researcher used the purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study were the head of the Ditreskrimum section of the Southeast Aceh Police, 4 village heads, gambling providers, witnesses/local residents and gamblers. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, and interviews. After the data is collected, a data analysis is carried out in the form of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To analyze this phenomenon, the researcher uses the structural functional theory by Robert King Merton. The role of the police in eradicating gambling at the Southeast Aceh Police can be seen with the theory of structural functionalism by Robert K. Merton. The manifest function of the police and village officials in eradicating gambling is by providing understanding, explanation and socializing to the public about the crime of gambling by the Southeast Aceh Police. The police's obstacles in eradicating gambling at the Southeast Aceh Police can be seen with the theory of structural functionalism by Robert K. Merton. Researcher suggestions for the police to be more assertive in carrying out their duties and transparency in dealing with criminal acts, especially gambling crimes.
