This study  discusses   the  problems   faced  by  teachers   in  using  multimedia   in teaching   English  which  is conducted   at  SMAN  3  Banda  Aceh.  The  purposes  of this study  are  to  know  what  problems   faced  by  teachers  in  using  multimedia   in  teaching English  and  how the solutions to solve  the problems. This  study  used descriptive  with qualitative  and quantitative approach.  The  instruments of this study  were questionnaire and  deep-interview as  technique  of data  collection.  The  study  also  involved  5 (five) English  teachers  as source of data and research  subject. Then  the result of questionnaire and interview  were  measured  by using  percentage  formula  and descriptive  explanation as technique  of data  analysis.  The  result of research  showed  three  problems  faced by teachers  in  teaching  English  by using  multimedia,  they are:  teachers'  ability,  materials, and   facilities.  To   solve   the  problems,   the  teachers   need   multimedia    training   and additional   facilities  in  the  school.  According   to  the  result,  SMAN  3 Banda  Aceh  has three  problems  with  two  solutions  faced  by  teachers  in using  multimedia   in  teaching English.&#13;
