THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL TO IMPROVE TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE AT STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 21 OF BANDA ACEH ABSTRACT (Herdiana) The purpose of this research is to establish how principal communication management is implemented to improve teacher performance at Banda Aceh’s State Elementary School 21. The subject of this research is the principal and teachers at the school, and it employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Techniques for data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The study’s findings indicate that: 1) a communication program is in place between the principal and the teacher council to improve the performance of the teachers at Banda Aceh's State Elementary School 21. 2) Communication is implemented between the principal and the teachers to improve the performance of the teachers at Banda Aceh’s State Elementary School 21. 3) The main barrier to communication between the principal and the teachers is following up on the implementation of the principal’s communication management in order to improve teacher performance at Banda Aceh’s State Elementary School 21. The principle must take responsibility and communicate effectively in order to foster cooperation and create a pleasant family atmosphere in which teachers can collaborate to improve their performance.
