 <note>The objective of this study is to look at some theories or research  findings on the use of guessing  games  for  teaching  speaking  skill.  The  discussion   of the  method  is focused on  the  techniques   under  guessing  games.  The  study  found  that  using guessing  games  can  facilitate  students  to get meaningful  and  interesting learning. Besides, each student has equal opportunity  to apply or practice the language.  It was also found that the students are highly motivated and pleased to learn the language  in many aspects of language. The method used in this study is a library research. Based on the research  findings and experts' statements, it is found that guessing  games are effective  to enhance the students'  speaking skill. This study  is expected  to be useful for other English teachers.&#13;
