 <note>This study is aimed at  elaborating and discussing  the the implementation of audiolingual  method in teaching speaking  particularly concerned  with transactional  model and interpersonal communication.  In  many cases,  most second grade students  of junior high school  are struggling in giving correct  responses  to defined situation  in daily conversation  as a result of inappropriate teaching method that makes speaking English  are generally more difficult  for them. Therefore, an intensive practices  instruction, such as in Audiolingual,  is proposed to encourage  each student to take part in  speaking  English.  The study  is conducted  by means of library research.  Reviews  of the study  focus on the entire  literature  which  includes  educational  research  and related theories that provide strong advocacy  for Audiolingual application. The study also proposed a lesson plan demonstration  when using of Audiolingual  and its  techniques  in speaking  skill. The conclusion drawn   from   this   study   is   teaching   speaking    of  transactional   model   and   interpersonal communication  through  Audiolingual   is  a successful  way  to  promote  student's achievement, participation  as well as a useful  technique  for struggle  speakers  to accomplish  learning tasks  in the classroom.&#13;
