Title : Teaching Recount Text by Using Contextual Teaching and
Learning (CTL) Method



The purpose of this study is to look at some given theories and research findings on the application of contextual teaching and learning method in teaching recount text for senior high school. The method used in this study is library research which collects statements and theories related to CTL from books of library and website on internet. In this study, the researcher uses CTL method and modeling technique as the guidance to teach reading recount text for the first grade of SMA Laboratorium Unsyiah. The research is related to all researchers that related to CTL. By providing some theories and statements from library and website about CTL, this study could be reference and guidance for teachers who will conduct teaching.
