 <note>Resistensi antibiotik adalahmasalahyang sangat penting dalam bidangkesehatan hewan dan manusia. Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah keberadaanEscherichiacoli sebagai penghasil ESBL pada feses ayam. Dalam penelitian iniSampel feses ayamyang digunakansebanyak 9sampel. Isolat bakteriEscherichiacoli didapatkan dari feses ayam broiler dipasar Rukoh Banda Aceh. Isolat yangdidapat kemudian diidentifikasi menggunakan Eosin Methylene blue agar(EMBA). Untuk Konfirmasi ESBL dilakukan dengan metode cakram ganda(Double disk method) menggunakan cakram antibiotik jenis ß-laktam yaitusefotaksim, dan seftazidim yang dilakukan pada media Mueller Hinton Agar(MHA).Hasil yang didapat padapenelitian ini menunjukkan resisten terhadapseftazidim sebanyak 77,8%, 22,2% lainnya menujunjukkan sensitif, padaantibiotiksefotaksimdidapatkan hasil resisten sebesar 33,3%, sementara 22,2%sensitif, dan 44,5% lainnya menunjukkan intermediet. Sedangkan bakteriEscherichia coli penghasil ESBL tidak didapatkan. Jadi kesimpulan daripenelitian inidisimpulkan bahwa keberadaan bakteri Escherichia coli penghasilESBL yang diisolasi dari feses ayam broiler di pasar Rukoh yaitu 0%.Kata kunci:Resistensi,Escherichia coli,antibiotic,ESBL.&#13;
Antibiotical resistance is an important issue in the animal health andhuman health. This study focused on the presence of ESBL-producingEscherichia coliin chickenfeces. The number of sample feces was 9.Escherichiacoli isolates were obtained from broiler chicken feces in pasar Rukoh BandaAceh. Isolates obtained were identified usingEosin Methylene blueagar (EMBA).Confirmation of ESBL in this study used Doubledisc method using antibioticaldisc namelycefotaxime and ceftazidimewithMueller Hinton Agar(MHA).Theresults showed resistance ceftazidime 77,8%, 22.2% sensitive, cefotaxime 33,3%was found to be resistance, 22,2% sensitive, and 44,5%showed intermediates.Inconclusion, the existence of ESBL-producing Escherichia coli which isolatedfrom the feces of broiler chickens in the Rukoh Market Banda Aceh is 0%.Keywords:Resistence,Escherichia coli,antibiotic, ESBL</note>
