ISOLASI TRICHOPHYTON SP PENYEBAB DERMATOFITOSIS PADA KAMBING KACANG (Capra aegagrus hircus) ABSTRAK Trichophyton sp merupakan salah satu penyebab dermatofitosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi Trichophyton sp penyebab dermatofitosis yang terdapat pada kulit kambing kacang (Capra aegagrus hircus ). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kerokan kulit dari delapan ekor kambing kacang. Penelitian ini merupakan observasional lapangan dan eksperimental laboratorium yang dilakukan sesuai metode Thompson. Isolasi Trichophyton sp diamati secara makroskopis dengan melihat perbedaan warna koloni yang tumbuh pada media Sabourauds dextrose agar dan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan slide kultur untuk mengamati morfologi secara mikroskopis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 4 dari 8 sampel, (50%) yang diperiksa terdapat koloni Trichophyton sp. Oleh sebab itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa Trichophyton sp dapat diisolasi pada kambing kacang dan merupakan sebagai salah satu penyabab dermatofitosis. This study aims to isolate Trichophyton sp. The cause of dermatophytosis found in the skin of kacang goat (Capra aegagrus hircus). The sample used in the study was skin scrapings from eight kacang goats. This research is a field observational and laboratory experimental conducted according to the Thompson method. The isolation of Trichophyton sp was observed macroscopically by looking at the differences in the color of the colonies that grew on Sabourauds dextrose agar and continued with making culture slides to observe morphology microscopically. The results showed that 4 of the 8 samples, (50%) examined were Trichophyton sp. Therefore, it can be concluded that Trichophyton sp can be isolated in kacang goats and is one of the causes of dermatophytosis.
