Demam berdarah dengue merupakan salah satu penyakit yang masih menjadi problem kesehatan utama bagi masyarakat di Indonesia di samping masalah kesehatan lainnya. Model yang dibentuk tidak hanya mempertimbangkan populasi host, tetapi juga vector dengan pertimbangan adanya perbedaan laju kesembuhan antara terinfeksi pertama dengan yang kedua. Model yang digunakan adalah pengembangan dari model matematika demam berdarah dengue yang telah diteliti sebelumnya dengan membagi kelas rentan terhadap dual serotype virus dengue. Berdasarkan model dibahas tiga titik kesetimbangan: titik kesetimbangan bebas penyakit, titik kesetimbangan endemik hanya pada sertoype pertama virus dengue, dan titik kesetimbangan endemik hanya pada sertoype kedua virus dengue. Berdasarkan next generating matriks diperoleh dua jenis basic reproduction number yaitu serotype pertama dan serotype kedua. Selanjutnya dengan menganalisis perilaku solusi awal model di sekitar titik kesetimbangan diperoleh bahwa diperlukan waktu yang cukup lama untuk mengidentifikasi host yang terinfeksi bebas dari infeksi virus dengue. Hal ini disebabkan karena infeksi virus dengue yang terjadi secara terus-menerus pada populasi host dan vector.&#13;

ABSTRACT&#13;

Dengue hemorrhagic fever is still becoming a serious health problem in Indonesia besides other health problems. The model was formed not only by considering the host population, but also the vectors and the differences between the rate of recovery of the first and second times of infections. The model used is the development of a mathematical model of dengue hemorrhagic fever which had researched before by dividing the classes susceptible into dual serotypes of the dengue viruses. Based on model, there are three kinds of equilibrium point would be explained: disease free equilibrium point, endemic equilibrium point at the first dengue virus only and ende mic equlibrium point at the serotype of second virus only. Based on next generating matrix, there are two types of basic reproduction number which are the first serotype and the second serotype. By the first recovery characteristic model around the equili brium point, it show that it takes a very long time to identify the host which already get recovered. This occurs due to the viruses that continuosly infected the host and vector. &#13;
